Plot Summary

Adapted from the novel of the same name by Jane Austen. Elizabeth Bennett (Keira Knightley) was born in a small landlord family, and has four sisters. Mrs. Bennett, her mother, worries about finding a husband who is suitable for her daughter. The new neighbor Mr. Bingley and his friend Darcy (played by Matthew McFadian) have broken the monotony of their family's rural life. Bingley and Elizabeth's sister Jane Bennet developed feelings for each other; Darcy developed a favorable impression of the kind and intelligent Elizabeth, but Elizabeth harbored prejudice against Darcy's arrogant behavior and did not accept his feelings. However, things are unpredictable, and due to a misunderstanding, Bingley and Jane Bennet's relationship is at stake; Darcy's various actions demonstrated the same kind side of his personality as Elizabeth, gradually winning her favor. Can two lovers finally get married? Can the Bennet sisters get the life they want?
