Description
Plot Summary
The story takes place in a world that is very similar to our Earth, where people's souls become spirits and follow themselves. Lila (played by Dakota Blue Richards) grew up with her uncle, who was always the president of the University of Jordan. She was passionate, brave, and righteous. One day, Mrs. Colt (played by Nicole Kidman) is going to the north, hoping that Lila can accompany her. Curious Lila happily agreed. Before leaving, her uncle gave her a golden compass and told her that only one person in the world can read it. Lila not only obtained the answer to the question from the golden compass, but also learned about the mystery of her own identity. Along the way, Mrs. Colt behaved strangely, and Lila also discovered that her missing friend Roger's name was prominently written on Mrs. Colt's list! Roger, like other children, was abducted to the far north to become a scientific experiment. Lila found the opportunity to escape and set out on her own to save Roger
