Plot Summary

The rock musical "House for Rent" became the seventh longest running production in Broadway history on March 1, 2006, and received recognition from both the Tony Award and the Pulitzer Prize. This musical is adapted from Puccini's opera "Bohemians" and focuses on a group of impoverished artists and musicians who struggle to survive in Alphabet City, New York, even under the shadow of AIDS (tuberculosis in "Bohemians"). The soundtrack of this musical is the most successful recording in the American musical industry in nearly thirty years, consisting of a complete set of two discs, including a remix version of "Seasons of Love" sung by Steve Wonder, and a single selection album.
