Description
Plot Summary
A car accident took the lives of his parents, and young Oscar and his sister Linda swore never to be separated. After reaching adulthood, Oscar (played by Nathaniel Brown) drifted to Tokyo to fulfill his childhood vows. He earned money by selling drugs and finally earned a plane ticket for Linda (played by Paz de la Huerta) to fly to Tokyo. Brothers and sisters meet, but ultimately become individuals who go with the flow. In this dazzling metropolis, Oscar continues to engage in drug trafficking, while Linda dances wildly at a nightclub. During a transaction, Oscar was surrounded by police and shot dead in the chaos. His consciousness gradually detached from his body, shuttling through the streets and alleys of Tokyo, paying attention to and following every person who left a mark in his life, waiting for the next cycle that will begin at an unknown time... This film won the Best Cinematography Award and Special Jury Prize at the 2009 Sitges – Catalonia International Film Festival.
