Plot Summary
In the eyes of her colleagues, Lucy (played by Ren é e Zellweger) is a strong willed and decisive woman, but also a despicable person who can do anything to achieve her goals. In Lucy's eyes, everything is unimportant, including poor interpersonal relationships and a barren love life. As long as she can have smooth sailing in her work, she can enjoy life with peace of mind. During an overseas assignment, Lucy was sent to a small town in Minnesota. Although Lucy did not want to take on this "tough job", the thought of using this assignment as a springboard for promotion made all the difficulties and obstacles no longer a problem. At first, everything in the small town made Lucy feel dull and tasteless, but as time passed, she found that everything that she couldn't bear gradually became cute. And here, Lucy meets a man named Ted (played by Harry Connick Jr.), whose appearance makes Lucy start to rethink what she really wants
