Description

Plot Summary

The Empress Dowager of Huatian Kingdom fell ill due to her daughter's illness, and the King Canghai (played by Louis Koo) urgently summoned the Princess Yizhu (played by Yang Ying) to return home to celebrate. Princess Yizhu went to the Central Plains to study for many years and secretly pledged her life to General Mai Bingrong (played by Zheng Zhongji), the protector of flowers in the Central Plains. While escorting the princess back to her home country, the general rescued the drowning woman Huang Ying (played by Xiong Dailin) from the sea. Later, the group was robbed by "Somali" pirates and the princess fell into the water and disappeared during the melee. Bankrupt tycoon Huang Wanwan (played by Huang Baiming) has no other choice but to have his daughter Huang Ying, who was rescued from the water, pretend to be his daughter Huang Ying and seek refuge with his in laws Wu Shangshu. Unexpectedly, he is harassed by Wu Wenren (played by Wu Junru), the younger sister of the Shangshu, who is a snobbish woman. The group becomes entangled in the Shangshu Mansion and is full of laughter. At this time, Huang Ying was sent to the palace and granted the title of princess, while the princess's pearl, disguised as a man, was selected by the king Canghai to participate in a martial arts competition for marriage. Princess Yizhu, disguised as a man, the Flower Protector General Mai Bingrong, and the son of the Shangshu, Wu Jinjin (played by Pan Yueming), who fell in love with Huang Ying at first sight, all passed multiple competitions and, under the judgment of the "martial arts fanatic" king Canghai, surprisingly ruled that Yizhu, who was powerless to tie a chicken, won. Whether lovers can finally get married, whether the true princess can return to her throne smoothly, everything will be revealed in the midst of joy and laughter.
