Description

Plot Summary

At the beginning of the 20th century, the international situation was constantly changing, and ancient China was in a critical moment of life and death. Far away in Foshan, Guangdong, young Ye Wen and his half brother Tian Ci became disciples of Wing Chun master Chen Huashun (played by Sammo Hung) to learn martial arts. Ye Wen was exceptionally intelligent and talented, and within ten years, he stood out among his fellow disciples. After reaching adulthood, Ip Man (played by Du Yuhang) bid farewell to growing up with Tian Ci (played by Fan Shaohuang) and his junior sister Mei Hui (played by Chen Jiahuan), and came to Hong Kong alone to study. During this period, he taught a lesson to the foreign devils who discriminated against Chinese people. He not only gained fame in Hong Kong, but also became a disciple of Liang Bi (played by Ye Zhun), the son of the Wing Chun royal family Liang Zan. Returning to Foshan, Ye Wen had a disagreement with his senior brother Wu Zhongsu (played by Yuan Biao) over the legitimacy of the Liangbi Wing Chun. Soon after, the chairman of the Jingwu Guild Hall was assassinated. Japanese people with ulterior motives are restless, while their former friend Tianci seems to have completely changed his appearance
