Plot Summary

Graham (Simon Pegg) and Clive (Nick Frost) are a pair of geek friends from the UK, whose daily lives are filled with alien events, comic book stories, and science fiction ideas. They have come to the United States to attend a comic book exhibition and visit the holy land of alien enthusiasts: Area 51 in Nevada. Unexpectedly, they encounter a real alien on the way - Paul (voiced by Seth Rogen), who was trapped on Earth 60 years ago, imprisoned and researched by a research base, and finally escaped. As expected, Paul looks like an ET with top-notch superpowers. However, to their surprise, Paul is a "rogue" alien full of American jokes and foul language. Three brothers embark on the journey to "help Paul go home", followed closely by Homeland Security agent Zol (played by Jason Bateman) and his stupid partner, who are determined to capture Paul back to the research base... This film is the hilarious collaboration of British gold medal comedy duo Simon Pegg and Nick Frost after "Shaun the Zombie" and "Hot Blooded Detective".
