Description
Plot Summary
David (played by James Marsden) is a somewhat famous playwright who, in order to have a better creative environment, returns to his beautiful southern hometown with his wife Amy (played by Kate Bosworth). The fresh air and leisurely life in their hometown made two tired urbanites feel very novel, but under this beautiful scenery, the indigenous people were not friendly to this newlywed couple. With a calm and peaceful attitude, David chose to silently endure various forms of discrimination from the outside world. Even after his wife was raped by a local construction worker, he only hoped to turn big things into small ones. However, David's constant forbearance resulted in even more severe bullying. When a group of "barbarians" attempted to break into his home, the once cowardly David chose to take up arms and fight to defend his last home.
