Description
Plot Summary
Gabriele Salvatoris, the Italian director who won the Best Foreign Language Film Oscar in 1992 for "The Mediterranean," released his new film "Siberian Education" in Italy on February 28, 2013. Adapted from the autobiographical novel of the same name by Russian author Nicolai Lilin, starring John Malkovich and Arnas Fedaravius. The story takes place between 1985 and 1995, where a group of lawless individuals lived on the border between Ukraine and Moldova, with their own survival and moral standards. The movie tells the story of the cruel childhood that the protagonist Kolima spent here. John Malkovich plays the protagonist's grandfather Kuzja, whose task is to teach his grandson the rules of survival in this lawless land.
