Plot Summary

In the future, 2044. Time travel has been illegal since its invention, and only when gang organizations want to clean up a specific object and do not want to leave any traces in this world, will they use "circular messengers". They are specifically responsible for executing targets that have been transported back to that world by time. They are called "circular messengers" because they ultimately have to kill their future selves - so as not to leave any trouble for future customers. This process is called 'sealing the ring'. Killer Joe (played by Joseph Gordon Levitt) is the youngest circular messenger, firing without fail. However, when he attempts to execute his future self (played by Bruce Willis), he faces fierce resistance and fails. Old Joe hopes to kill the key figure in the future ring sealing plan - the Rain Summoner, in order to change the fate of his wife (played by Xu Qing); During the pursuit, young Joe meets Sarah (played by Emily Blunt), a single mother on a farm, and unexpectedly becomes the protector of a mother and son. Two versions of Joe each came up with their own tricks in this gamble to change the future (and present), staging their own peak showdown .....
