Plot Summary

In childhood, Hansel (Jeremy Renner) and Gretel (Gemma Arterton), the orphan siblings of the Candy House witch, were eliminated, becoming the biggest nemesis of the evil witch for many years. While helping the small town of Augsburg search for the missing child and hide the witch, the siblings discovered that a "blood moon" (lunar eclipse) was about to appear three days later, which was an extremely important and sacred moment for the witches. The two siblings quickly took action, and the police chief who disliked them also recruited a group of people to track down the whereabouts of the witches. Not long after, the witch boss (played by Famke Janssen) led his men to attack the town and engaged in a direct confrontation with the siblings. After the fierce battle, Gretel was severely injured, and Hansel disappeared with the witch and went missing.
