Plot Summary

The Afghan parliamentary elections are approaching, and in order to ensure the smooth progress of the elections, the United States Marine Corps and special forces have conducted a series of thorough investigations in their jurisdiction. In a turbulent region, former Taliban leader Ahmed Shah took advantage of the situation and became a thorn in the side of the United States that it was eager to get rid of. According to intelligence reports, Shah's armed forces are hiding in a mountainous area. Lieutenant Mike Murphy (Taylor Kitsch) of the Navy SEAL reconnaissance team leads three members, Danny Ditz (Emile Hirsch), Matt Axelson (Ben Foster), and Marcus Rattel (Mark Wahlberg), to search for intelligence. But their whereabouts were quickly discovered by local shepherds, who posed a challenge to the team despite being ordinary civilians.
