Description
Plot Summary
A pair of girls, Victoria Desan (Megan Charpentier) and Lily Desan (Isabelle N é lisse), had their mother killed by their father, who then committed suicide and abandoned their two daughters in the woods. Five years later, when they were discovered, their condition was extremely poor, lonely and hungry. They felt fear and resistance to all physical contact, and no one knew how they survived in such a lonely environment. Uncle Lucas (played by Nikolaj Coster Waldau) and his girlfriend Annabelle (played by Jessica Chastain) adopted them, breaking their previously peaceful life. In the darkness, there is always a ghost that follows like a shadow, and this ghost that wants to kill them, two girls call her: Mom. This film is the debut feature film of Spanish director Anders Mucchetti, adapted from his 2008 short film of the same name.
