Plot Summary

On the night of the Spring Festival holiday, the bar street in the city center was bustling and noisy. Hong Kong movie star Mr. Wu (played by Andy Lau) walked out of the bar and was kidnapped at gunpoint by a group of people posing as police officers led by Zhang Hua (played by Wang Qianyuan) and taken to a secluded suburban courtyard. Mr. Wu unexpectedly discovered that the kidnappers had also kidnapped another hostage, Xiao Dou (played by Cai Lu). After negotiations with Zhang Hua, Mr. Wu pulled Xiao Dou back from the brink of death. The two of them embarked on a thrilling 20 hour journey of fighting for vitality and relying on each other for survival. Upon receiving the report, the police quickly organized their strongest force, with Criminal Investigation Captain Xing Feng (played by Liu Ye) and Cao Gang (played by Wu Ruofu) joining forces to carry out the investigation. But the cunning and arrogant kidnapper Zhang Hua has strong anti surveillance capabilities and does not follow the rules towards his accomplices and hostages. He goes out alone to collect ransom from my husband's friend (played by Lin Xue). But at the time of obtaining the ransom, he instructed his accomplices to kill the hostages until 9 pm, regardless of whether they could obtain the ransom or not. After several rounds of investigation and confrontation, the police have obtained the whereabouts of Zhang Hua. Xing Feng and Cao Gang cooperated precisely and arrested Zhang Hua in extremely dangerous situations. There are still two hours left before the kidnappers agreed to tear up the tickets. As 9pm approaches, Xing Feng and Cao Gang once again join forces to engage in a psychological battle with the dying Zhang Hua, and find a breakthrough at the last moment.
