Plot Summary
The 10 episode first season of HBO's new comedy series "The War of the Saviors" will premiere simultaneously on HBO and HBO HD channels in the United States at 10:30 am on June 22 (Monday), and will air again at 10:30 pm in the evening. This epic black comedy series focuses on a geopolitical crisis and its impact on three completely different and desperate people, including Secretary of State Walter Larson, humble foreign affairs officer Alex Talbot, and ace Navy fighter pilot Zeke Tilson, who must find ways to solve the various problems surrounding them in order to avoid World War III. The movie "The War to Save the World" stars Jack Black, Tim Robbins, Pablo Schreiber, Aasif Mandvi, Maribeth Monroe, Eric Ladin, Esai Morales, and Geoff Pierson. Jerry Weintraub, Roberto Benabib, and Jay Roach served as executive producers; Roberto Benabib and Kim Benabib are responsible for the creation.
