Plot Summary

One summer day, the red haired girl Mary (voiced by Hana Sugisaki) was sent to the countryside cottage where Aunt Charlotte was on vacation. As a newcomer, Mary is not yet accustomed to everything around her, especially the mischievous boy Peter (voiced by Ryunosuke Kamiki) who intends to confront her, which makes Mary really unhappy. On a chance forest expedition, Mary saw the legendary magical flower "Night Flight" and also found a broken broom. Unfortunately, this magical broom carried Mary up into the sky and arrived at the Ende Academy, which specializes in training magicians. In this magical place, Mary was warmly received by Ms. Manblechek (voiced by Yuki Amami) and also met the strange looking Dr. D (voiced by Fumio Kohata). Although the girl naively became a magic student, she soon discovered the secrets hidden here... This film is adapted from Mary Stuart's British children's literature novel and is the first animated feature film produced and filmed by Milin Hongchang after leaving Studio Ghibli.
