Description
Plot Summary
In July 2014, expectant parents Irka and Tolik lived in the Donetsk region of eastern Ukraine near the Russian border, which was a disputed area in the early stages of the Donbass War. As the plane crash near MH17 intensified the intimidating tension surrounding their village, their anxious expectations for the birth of their first child were violently interrupted by the sudden event. The imminent wreckage of the crashed plane and the upcoming mourning procession emphasize the surreal trauma of the time.
