Description

Plot Summary

The story takes place in 1893, when British troops invaded India and were stationed in a small village plagued by drought. In addition to facing awkward harvests and poor weather, villagers also have to deal with heavy and demanding taxes, and their lives are unbearable for a while. Russell (played by Paul Blackthorne) is the commander of the British army. One day, he approached the young man in the village, Ravan (played by Aamir Khan), and made a request to compete with him. Russell promised LaVine that if his team could win the game, he would implement a three-year tax exemption policy in the village. However, if LaVine failed to win, the taxes paid by the villagers would increase threefold. Lavan, who was filled with passion, accepted Russell's challenge, but faced strong opposition from the villagers, and no one was willing to join his team. At this point, Russell's sister Elizabeth (played by Rachel Shelley) couldn't stand her brother's bullying and joined the LaVine team, teaching them how to play. Can the LaVine team, which had strong assists, ultimately win?
