Description
Plot Summary
The arrival of a visitor (played by Terence Stamp) completely changes the life of a family. Although this visitor has no identity, no history, and even no name, everyone in the family is tempted by him to go crazy. Wife (Silvana Mangano), husband (Massimo Girotti), daughter (Anne Wiazemsky), son (Andr é s Jos é Cruz Soublette), maid (Laura Betti), all submit to the entanglement of souls and desires brought by visitors. After the visitor left, the husband gave up running the factory for many years, the wife began to seek pleasure from the workers, the daughter fell into a stubborn illness in her heart, the son began to explore the wonders and joy brought by art, and miracles were revealed in the maid's body.
