Description
Plot Summary
52 year old Caesar (played by Rex Harrison) travels to Egypt as a Roman executive to resolve the dispute between the royal siblings over the throne. Empress Cleopatra (played by Elizabeth Taylor) is incredibly beautiful. With her charm and political skills, she quickly made Caesar fall under her spell, not only gaining control of Egypt, but also conquering Rome with her beauty. After marrying Caesar, Ke gave birth to a son for him, who was well liked by Caesar and was appointed as his heir. But this incident caused dissatisfaction among Caesar's generals Antony (played by Richard Burton) and Octavian (played by Roddy McDowall). After Caesar's assassination and death, Antony took over the rule of Rome, but he was also unable to resist the unparalleled beauty of the Croats. When Antony was completely immersed in stormy love, Octavian, who was in Rome, had already sounded the horn to seize power
