Plot Summary

This is a real movie that truthfully depicts the history of the Japanese army's surprise attack on Pearl Harbor. The US military intervened in the Pacific theater, and the top Japanese general, Isoroku Yamamoto (played by S Yamamura), believed that the US military was powerful and should fight quickly, rather than engaging in a long-term war with the Americans. So, the surprise attack on Pearl Harbor planned by him was officially launched. Although the US military learned of the possibility of a surprise attack by the Japanese army from the previously intercepted Japanese military cables, most people dismissed it and did not report the contents of the cables. Even on the day of the raid, when a US soldier spotted an unusual group of planes on the radar, the US military commander still believed that it was his own plane carrying out a patrol mission. In the end, the Japanese surprise attack was a complete success, and the US military suffered heavy losses. Yamamoto Isoroku has also become the biggest thorn in the eyes of Americans.
