Plot Summary

The content describes the tragic sacrifices of Nationalist Air Force Captain Gao Zhihang, as well as Air Force heroes such as Yan Haiwen, Liu Zhigang, and Shen Chonghai during the Anti Japanese War. The video production took three years and cost tens of millions of Taiwanese dollars. In order to match the identity of the characters, thousands of sets of air force flight suits and navy and army uniforms were developed. The Ministry of National Defense allocated funds for the renovation of a large warship, developed hundreds of propeller driven aircraft, and modified dozens of fighter jets, most notably the Japanese Type 96 fighter bomber. Due to the plot extending across the sea, land, and sky, it was filmed by three sets of cameras on different modes of transportation. This film not only presents a delicate plot, but also deeply depicts the thoughts and emotions of the characters, and successfully portrays the heroic image of the air crew. The video won the Best Picture, Best Director, Best Screenplay, Best Color Cinematography, Best Editing, and Best Recording awards at the 14th Golden Horse Awards.
