Plot Summary

The Japanese Antarctic research team spent a winter in Antarctica. During this time, three team members led fifteen Kuye dogs to investigate on a mountain in the interior of Antarctica. On the way back, we encountered heavy fog and all the team members became snow blind. They released two dogs several tens of kilometers away from the base and asked them to find their way back to the base to have someone come and pick them up. Two dogs brought people and cars to the base, and they safely returned. A few days later, the scientific research ship parked by the seaside sent planes to pick up the people from the base. Before leaving, Ken Takakura and others tied up the dogs. Prepare to hand over to the second batch of team members. However, as the weather worsened and the plan changed, all members returned to the open sea and returned home. The dogs were left at the base.
