Plot Summary

After burying Xiaoqian's ashes, Ning Caichen (played by Leslie Cheung) and Yan Chixia (played by Wu Ma) went their separate ways. Ning Caichen returned to the world during a time when treacherous officials were in power, the government was in chaos, and people's livelihoods were in hardship. Ning accidentally entered a black shop and was on the verge of being killed, but was mistakenly arrested and imprisoned by the constable. He met the famous scholar Zhuge Wolong (played by Gu Feng) and was saved by him.
