Description

Plot Summary

The female lead of the film is Hollywood's popular actress Julia Roberts, who has been among the top Hollywood stars since she entered the film industry in the late 1980s. Her dazzling on-screen charm is enough to make her choose any role in comedy or drama films, and Roberts has touched the hearts of millions of fans with her unique charm. The fresh, lively, healthy, and lively image of Hillary portrayed by her in the film, along with her signature toothy laughter, is enough to infect every audience member. One day, the beautiful girl Hillary opened the door and found her construction worker boyfriend fooling around with a girl. In a fit of anger, she decided to break up with her boyfriend, no longer rely on him for a living, and start supporting herself. Although her mother was not optimistic about her plans, Hillary had made up her mind. As promised, the next day Hillary applied for a job as a nurse in a wealthy family through an advertisement in the newspaper, specializing in caring for Victor, the son of a millionaire who had leukemia. Victor not only provided food and lodging for Hillary, but also surprised her with his generous salary. Not long after, Hillary realized that the job was not that easy. Victor always experiences strong adverse reactions after completing chemotherapy, constantly vomiting, shouting, and suffering greatly. And the job of caregiving is even more torturous for Hillary, who is naturally kind, as she must watch a young life gradually wither away. Hillary takes care of Victor carefully every day, although in fact she knows nothing about caregiving. With more and more opportunities to interact, Hillary gained a deeper understanding of Victor. He lost his mother when he was nine years old, fragile and sensitive. Soon after, he was diagnosed with leukemia, and life was not so fair to him. And Victor was also attracted by Hillary's beauty and kindness, and they truly fell in love during their long-term relationship. In order to give Hillary a normal love, Victor decided to conceal his treatment plan and take her to a seaside town to start a brand new life. There, the two shared their lifestyles with each other. Hillary taught Victor how to drive and took him to bars, while Victor occasionally gave Hillary art classes and made many warm and kind friends. They had a happy and joyful time, and Victor's condition seemed to have suddenly improved. But the good times didn't last long. The sudden deterioration of Victor's condition broke his peaceful life. Although he kept it a secret, careful Hillary still discovered that she insisted on taking Victor back to the hospital for treatment. The beautiful girl swore that as long as he lived, she would accompany him for one day.
