Description
Plot Summary
Seventeen year old rural boy Agui (Cui Lin) found a job delivering packages in Beijing because he received a promise that when he earned six hundred yuan, he could have a silver variable speed off-road vehicle temporarily borrowed by the company. He worked diligently every day, but just as his dream was about to come true, Agui lost his car and fell into despair. Xiaojian (Li Bin) is a Beijing teenager of the same age as Agui, but due to his family's poverty, he often feels inferior while maintaining his pride. After his father repeatedly broke his promise to buy him a bicycle, Xiaojian stole money from home to buy a second-hand car in order to save face in front of his companions and attract friends (Gao Yuan Yuan). Unexpectedly, this car was lost by Agui. After Agui discovered that his bicycle, which he relied on for survival, had been stolen by Xiaojian, he began to fight desperately to retrieve it at any cost. The two teenagers fought to protect their simple dreams.
