Description
Plot Summary
Ten years after the end of the American Civil War, the hero of the Civil War, Tom Cruise, spent his days drinking due to idleness. By chance, he met a Japanese businessman who came to the United States to do business. Nathan's outstanding performance impressed the opponent. At this time, during the Meiji Restoration period, the Japanese Emperor intended to train a modern combat force, so Nathan was invited to Japan. Many samurai in Japan do not welcome Nathan's arrival. They firmly refuse to abandon the traditional spirit of Bushido and are very averse to westernizing samurai. They rose up with swords under the leadership of their leader Ugio (played by Hiroyuki Sanada) and took refuge in a remote mountain village to establish themselves as rulers.
