Plot Summary

Everyone has experienced a regretful and terrible morning. I overslept in a lazy bed, got up and hurt my toe, went downstairs and kowtowed, and burned my bread for breakfast. Arthur Dent (played by Martin Freeman) had bad luck this morning, and it was far more than that. The government has decided to demolish his house, and his friend Ford Prefect (played by Morse Dove) admits to being an alien and is searching for a new version of "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" on Earth. The most sensational thing is that aliens are building the Milky Way highway, and Earth is the obstacle to the progress of the project. Aliens are about to destroy Earth. With the help of Ford, Arthur Dent boarded an alien spacecraft passing by Earth at the last moment before its destruction, and embarked on a journey of astonishing exploration of the galaxy, far away from this soon to be destroyed sad place. During his space journey, Arthur discovered that towels were the most useful thing in the universe and experienced the precise meaning of life. He also discovered that everything he needed to know was actually written in an electronic book called "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy"
