Plot Summary

In the ancient kingdom of Akkad in the Mesopotamian region, the Black Scorpion Warrior was the most elite warrior in front of the king. Asha is one of the top performers among the Black Scorpions. In order to protect his 13-year-old son Mashayas (played by Michael Copon), Asha avenged General Sargon. Sargon, who wielded the dark magic, drove the Scorpion to kill Asha. Mashayas joined the ranks of the Black Scorpion with the determination to avenge his father. Six years later, Mashayas, who had become the outstanding figure of the Black Scorpion, returned to his hometown with honor, but his enemy Sargon replaced the old king as the ruler. In order to test Mashayas' loyalty, Sargon ordered him to kill his own brother. Mashayas rose up in rebellion and was ultimately defeated by Sargon's magic, escaping from Akkad. Mashayas' childhood friend Laila (played by Karen Shenaz David) follows him on their journey, and the two travel to Egypt in search of a divine weapon that can break through Sargon.
