Description
Plot Summary
A 2-year-old boy named Brandon (voiced by Evan McGuire) and his uncle Albert Serraci (voiced by Brendan Gleeson) live in a fortress like monastery in Cairns, Ireland. As the abbot of the monastery, Serraci leads Brendan and other monks to repair and reinforce the outer walls of the monastery every day to resist attacks from Nordic pirates. Brandon leads a disciplined life every day, and his uncle always sternly warns him not to leave the monastery. Until the arrival of a legendary artist named Aidan (voiced by Mick Lally), his monastery was flattened by pirates and he sought refuge here. Aidan also brought her unfinished picture book, the Kael Sutra. Aidan discovered Braden's talent in painting and told Brandon that knowledge can turn darkness into light. He began to ask Brandon to work with him to complete this masterpiece. In order to complete the Kael Sutra, Brandon had to disobey his uncle's orders and walk out of the monastery walls, searching for berries to make ink in the woods. Can they succeed
