Plot Summary

The father of the boy Zhu Yunxiang (played by Bi Xiaohai) passed away, leaving no one to take care of him. Mr. Zhang (played by Jin Shijie), an old school worker from mainland China, was cold on the outside but hot on the inside. He took care of Zhu Yunxiang for a period of time before his birth mother Wu Chunlan (played by Hao Lei) arrived. Wu Chunlan went to Taiwan from mainland China more than a decade ago. After a brief dream shattered, she experienced imprisonment and now lives in a dusty place. The stepfather (played by Dai Liren) who relies on setting up a stall to make a living is filled with hatred and has a lot of resentment towards Xiao Xiang's arrival. Fortunately, Xiaoxiang met a local thug named Pistol (played by Na Dou). Pistol took Xiaoxiang for a ride on a stolen light bike, and although it was illegal for Pistol to steal and forcibly rob elementary school students, it added further excitement to Xiaoxiang's dull life. Unless necessary, Xiaoxiang rarely draws, but he has also painted one for his father and one for Pistol Boy.
