Description
Plot Summary
Charles City, located in the suburbs of Boston in the eastern United States, is like a paradise forgotten by the rule of law. The working class of Irish descent in the city accounts for a large proportion, and the impoverished living conditions and unbearable pressure in the region make people take risks. Bank robberies occur from time to time, and everything becomes insane and hopeless. One morning, the beautiful bank manager Claire Gieser (played by Rebecca Hall) encountered a group of robbers wearing skull masks, and she was taken hostage. Strangely, Claire ultimately survived unexpectedly, as if the events of this morning had never happened before. One day, she met the tall and handsome man Doug McRae (played by Ben Affleck), and a wonderful fate unfolded, changing their destinies... This film is adapted from Chuck Hogan's original work.
