Description

Plot Summary

In 1956, 19-year-old Bobby Charlton (played by Jack O'Connell) got his first chance to play for Manchester United's first team with the help of assistant coach Jimmy Murphy (played by David Tennant). At that time, Manchester United, under the management of head coach Matt Busby (played by Dougray Scott), had a wealth of talent and numerous talented players, earning them the nickname "Busby's Children". Among them are Hope Stars such as Mark Jones, Duncan Edwards (Sam Claflin), and Eddie Colman. Manchester United will play away against Bayern Munich in the UEFA Champions League, and then return to the UK to participate in the league. At Busby's repeated requests, the English Football Association never agreed to postpone Manchester United's league, resulting in Manchester United having to take a plane back to England as soon as they finished playing in Germany. The snowstorm in Germany repeatedly delayed the takeoff of the plane, and unfortunately, it happened after the plane made its last attempt This is the 'Munich air disaster', where many talented players died. How can Bobby Charlton and head coach Busby lead Manchester United to a rebirth? This film is a BBC television movie.
