Description
Plot Summary
The story begins and ends in Montreal. A writer in search of inspiration (played by Rafe Spall) accidentally learns about the legendary story of Pai Patil (played by Irrfan Khan). Pai's father (played by Adil Hussain) runs a zoo. Due to such a unique living environment, the youth faction (played by Suraj Sharma) has its own set of views on faith and human nature. At the age of 17, his parents decided to immigrate to Canada with their family in pursuit of a better life, and he also had to leave his first love. On the ship heading to Canada, they met a cruel French chef (G é rard Depardieu). That night, in the vast sea, the storm that was originally thrilling for Pai turned into a disaster that engulfed the cargo ship in an instant.
