Plot Summary

This film is set in the early period of Korea and tells the story of the history of King Sejong's usurpation of the throne. Jin Naijing (played by Song Kanghao), a descendant of the chaotic courtiers, possesses the skill of meeting people face-to-face, but due to his humble status, he can only live in seclusion in the wilderness with his brother-in-law (played by Zhao Zhengxi) and son Zhenheng (played by Li Zhongshuo). The owner's wife (played by Jin Huixiu) of the largest brothel in Hanyang came to visit Jin Naijing and persuaded him to go to Hanyang to make money by looking at appearances, but she was misunderstood by Zhenheng. After arriving in Hanyang, Jin Naijing took steady steps to earn a lot of money and gained the appreciation of loyal minister Jin Zongrui (played by Bai Yunzhi), even gaining the trust of the emperor.
