Plot Summary

Hollywood sci-fi action film, the finale of this year's summer season in China! This vivid and violent sequel surpasses the first installment of the series in almost all aspects of technology and philosophy. Not only is it an exciting genre film and summer movie, but it is also a great science fiction film and one of the best movies of the year so far. Ten years ago, humans paid a painful price for their foolishness, as the deadly ape flu virus spread globally and the world was completely destroyed. In the primitive jungle adjacent to San Francisco, Caesar (played by Andy Serkis) leads his chimpanzee companions to establish a carefree kingdom, until one day, the tranquility of the chimpanzee's home is once again disrupted by humans. Human beings struggling to survive in the old city are facing an energy crisis, and they are trying to use the power station of the dam in the forest hinterland to provide energy. Young scientist Malcolm (played by Jason Clarke) attempts to persuade the gathering place's leader, Dreyfus (played by Gary Oldman), in the hope of gaining the trust and consent of the chimpanzee tribe through peaceful means. However, Caesar's good ally Kobba (played by Toby Kebbell) cannot eliminate his hatred towards humanity and attempts to challenge Caesar's authority. Humans and chimpanzees are cautiously probing each other, and war is inevitable
