Plot Summary

In the summer of 1945, the shadow of World War II faded from above the earth. The distant northern island of Setan cannot monopolize tranquility. Shortly after the artillery bombardment, the Soviet warship army arrived, leaving the Japanese islanders unsure of whether it was good or bad. The two brothers of the Seno family, 10-year-old Chunpei (voiced by Yukitaka Yokoyama) and 7-year-old Kuanta (voiced by Juniya Taniwa), witnessed the tremendous changes of the times. In the initial cruel past, Soviet families came to the island and inadvertently planted the seeds of peace and friendship. Through music, children from both the Soviet Union and Japan became friends who could sing and play, while the Saino brothers became close with Tania, a girl who lived next door to her, relying on a toy steam train. However, their hard-earned friendship was shattered by an incident. In the tide of the times, nationalities, countries, and politics, children's lives leave the initial but never fading scars...
