Plot Summary

The king of the demon world, Bull Demon King (played by Aaron Kwok), engages in a battle with the divine realm led by the Jade Emperor (played by Chow Yun fat). The divine realm is destroyed, and N ü wa (played by Zhang Zilin) transforms into a crystal to repair the Heavenly Court. A small crystal left behind falls to the human world and becomes a stone monkey. However, Bull Demon King is defeated and forced to hide with his wife, Princess Iron Fan (played by Chen Qiao'en), to the Flame Mountain. Several years later, the Stone Monkey received the teachings of Bodhi Patriarch (played by Hai Yitian) and was given the name Sun Wukong (played by Donnie Yen). Sun Wukong came to Huaguo Mountain to proclaim himself king and even stole the Sea God's Needle as a weapon from the East Sea Dragon King (played by Liu Hua). At the same time, the Bull Demon King aspires to make a comeback and uses the relationship between Sun Wukong and his childhood sweetheart, the little fox spirit (played by Xia Zitong), to incite Sun Wukong to cause chaos in the Heavenly Palace. He also colludes with Erlang Shen (played by He Rundong) to destroy the South Heavenly Gate. Sun Wukong is determined to win, and the Heavenly Court is in imminent danger.
