Plot Summary

Lionsgate Films will collaborate with Crest Animation from India to produce the 3D animated film 'Norm of the North'. This film will be shot using stereoscopic 3D technology, which was used in Avatar. This film was written by Steven Altiere and Daniel Altiere, and the story revolves around a polar bear and three lemmings. After the ice in their hometown began to melt, several small and large animals had to migrate to other places. Later, led by a polar bear, they came to New York and performed as a company mascot, only to discover that their employer was actually the culprit behind the melting of Arctic ice and snow. This film is positioned as a family film and is managed by Lionsgate's family entertainment department. Kester Animation Company hopes to release the film in early 2012. A spokesperson for Lionsgate said, "Through a variety of characters, scenes, and voiceovers, 'Arctic Migration' will provide a great entertainment experience for family audiences of all ages."
