Description
Plot Summary
Yu Xiuhua, a rural woman who has been suffering from cerebral palsy since childhood, became the most famous poet in China in 2015. She wrote 'Crossing Half of China to Sleep with You', and her strong emotions and desires are eye-catching. 20 years ago, Yu Xiuhua's mother married her, who was ignorant and naive, to a stranger who was more than ten years older than her. This seemingly unfamiliar marriage became the pain and regret of her life. Yu Xiuhua writes poetry, attempting to engage in a dialogue with her own destiny, depicting her incomplete body and her longing for true love. With Yu Xiuhua's fame and economic independence, she wants to regain control of her destiny through divorce and end this loveless marriage. However, her husband strongly opposes divorce, and her parents and son do not support her either. Even worse, her mother was diagnosed with lung cancer, and Yu Xiuhua is facing increasing resistance. Can she fulfill her wish?
