Plot Summary
Marvel's The Defenders, also known as The Defenders, is a web mini television series based on the Marvel Comics superhero team of the same name, planned to be released by Netflix in the United States. It was developed by Douglas Petrie and Marco Ramirez. This series is set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and is connected to the plot of the Marvel Cinematic Universe series of movies, making it the climax of the Marvel Cinematic Universe television series. This mini series is jointly produced by Marvel TV and ABC Studios, with Ramirez in charge of coordination. The story takes place a few months after the second season of "Daredevil" and a month after the story of "Iron Fist Man", where vigilante groups living throughout New York - Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist Man - join forces to form a team of superhero heroes to fight against the evil forces of the Anti Hand Union.
