Description
Plot Summary
In the 1960s, London, England. Laura Queen (played by Demi Moore), who works for the London Diamond Company, is beautiful, dignified, intelligent, and diligent in her work. But in an era where the status of women was not yet respected enough, especially in this male dominated diamond company, Laura's efforts never received the deserved rewards, and opportunities for promotion were missed time and time again. One day, Laura was invited to watch a movie with the company's soon to be retired janitor, Hubbs (played by Michael Caine), only to learn that she would be fired from the company, and her career was instantly ruined. Hubbs, who has been working in the diamond company for over a decade, has a deep understanding of the company's internal management situation. He set his sights on the diamond company's insurance vault and planned to make a big deal before retirement. Laura, who has been depressed for many years, is the perfect candidate for this action
