Stephen had to regain his wife in order to become a warrior, but Anne developed a long-term relationship with Martin, and their love triangle accelerated the flames of war. American actress Jennifer Jason Leigh is the red dot in this masculine and violent film, performing well. Director's Brief: Paul Verhoeven was born in Amsterdam, Netherlands and holds dual doctoral degrees in mathematics and physics. During his service, he filmed a documentary for the Royal Dutch Navy. After retiring, he worked as a director at a television station and directed an in-depth documentary called "Muse". What caught his attention abroad were three films produced in the Netherlands: Soldier of Orange (1979), Spetters (1980), and The Forth Man (1983). In 1985, Verhoeven used American funds to direct his first film Flesh&Blood, which was almost rated X-class. Two years later, Robocop, which entered Hollywood, further showcased the intense aesthetic of violence to American audiences. He attaches great importance to creative freedom and must ensure that the film will not be interfered with after completion. His controversial style and scale at the edge of scissors make him an outstanding Dutch director in the American film industry.
