Plot Summary

In Israel, there is no civil marriage or civil divorce, and all marriages and divorces must be judged by Jewish rabbis to become "legal". However, the rights of the husband often override those of a third-party judge. The lawsuit is the story told in this context. Even though Eliza stubbornly refused to compromise, Vivian was determined to fight for her freedom, but the attitude of the religious adjudicator was ambiguous.
