Description
Plot Summary
The magnificent California desert and the desolate town of '29 Palm Leaves'. Indifferent freelance photographer David (played by David Wissak) and neurotic girlfriend Garcia (played by Yekaterina Golubeva). Along the way, they argued endlessly over trivial matters, and only crazy, animalistic lovemaking could temporarily heal this almost collapsing relationship. Quarreling, having sex, healing, and then arguing, having sex, healing again, a pathological four-day and four night cycle. Until a sudden violent incident ended it all in a devouring desert... With its strong philosophical reflection, this film caused a great response at the 2003 Venice Film Festival and was nominated for the Golden Lion Award for Best Film that year.
