Description
Plot Summary
The incestuous atmosphere and indifferent marital relationships that pervade the rainy season are suffocating. Every February, the northwest of Argentina begins to experience the unique downpour of tropical rainforests, turning vast forests into swamps and wetlands that are impassable by both humans and animals. The scorching sun shines on the swamps, and the heat and mist make it a dead silence. A fifty year old woman named Meicha lives on the edge of this swamp. She and her cousin Tali run a farm here. They each have four children and a husband. The two families struggle to survive by the swamp, but in the summer of that year, two unexpected events challenged their survival
