Plot Summary
Nominated for Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Adapted Screenplay at the 78th Academy Awards, this is a true film about politics and revenge. At the 20th Olympic Games held in the Federal Republic of Germany in 1972, the Palestinian extremist terrorist organization "Black September" broke into the Olympic Village and kidnapped 11 Israeli athletes, threatening Israel to release the imprisoned members of the organization. The police in the Federal Republic of Germany mishandled the kidnapping incident, rushing directly into the terrorist organization's lair in an attempt to arm and rescue the hostages, which unexpectedly resulted in the deaths of all 11 Israeli athletes! After the incident, the top management of Israel's Mossad quickly trained a group of agents and launched a century long bloody retaliation against the Black September organization and related Palestinians
