Plot Summary

Tony Manero (played by John Travolta) is a 19-year-old young man from Brooklyn, New York who works in a hardware store during the day and appears to be an ordinary teenager. However, on Saturday night, Tony became the shining "dance king" of the local disco. Annette is Tony's dance partner, and the two had originally planned to participate in a dance competition to be held at the ballroom. However, when Tony met Stephanie Mangano (played by Karen Lynn Gorney), he was moved by her dancing skills. Tony's courtship with Stephanie was rejected, but Stephanie agreed to be Tony's dance partner and participate in the competition with him. The two of them practice diligently every day.
