Description

Plot Summary

Puyi (played by Zunlong)'s life is narrated in the movie. He ascended to the throne at the age of three, and in his young eyes, there was only a grasshopper on the minister's body. Jiangshan was just an unknown term in his heart. As he grew up, he thought he could make changes, but the eunuchs burned down the imperial ledger. He thought he was the master of the Qing Dynasty, but he became a puppet of the Japanese. After liberation, he boarded the train back from Russia, accompanied by the People's Liberation Army escorting and monitoring him. He guessed that he couldn't escape death, so he hid in a small bathroom and cut his pulse to commit suicide. However, he did not die on the train, and the mockery of fate still awaited him. The ups and downs of the Cultural Revolution left scars on him.
